Endura-Nylon or Poly-Max: Which Is Right for You?
- Fabric – Endura-Nylon: 200-denier nylon, aniline dyed; Poly-Max Polyester: 2-ply 100% polyester, open weave
- Best for – Endura-Nylon: Homes, schools, and businesses that want a flag that flies in light wind; Poly-Max Polyester: Commercial poles and exposed, windy locations
- Weather – Endura-Nylon: Fast drying, treated to resist fading; Poly-Max Polyester: UV protection, dyes resist bleeding when wet

Reinforced Stitching Option
The fly end is the edge of any outdoor flag that takes the most punishment in the wind. If your Texas flag flies in a high-wind spot or on a busy commercial pole, ask us about adding reinforced stitching. Reinforced flags add extra rows of fly-end stitching and reinforced corners, and the stitching pattern changes with flag size. What Size Texas Flag Do I Need?
A common guideline is a flag whose fly (length) is roughly one-quarter to one-third the height of your flagpole. These are typical pairings:
- Wall or porch bracket – Typical Flag Size: 2' x 3'
- 20 ft – Typical Flag Size: 3' x 5' or 4' x 6'
- 25 to 30 ft – Typical Flag Size: 4' x 6' or 5' x 8'
- 40 ft – Typical Flag Size: 6' x 10' or 8' x 12'
- 50 ft – Typical Flag Size: 8' x 12' or 10' x 15'
- 60 ft and taller – Typical Flag Size: 10' x 15', 12' x 18', or larger
